The Spider’s Web

Built from lived experience, The Spider’s Web exists to turn survival into stewardship, and healing into something that can be shared.

This is a survivor-led, trauma-informed healing project rooted in nature, faith, bees, and community care.

The Spider’s Web exists to create safe, grounded spaces for women and families to reconnect — to themselves, to the land, and to hope — through pollinator stewardship, education, and intentional healing practices.
This work is being built slowly and responsibly and is fiscally sponsored by LEAD for Pollinators.

bee collective

Everything the bee collective does is aimed at breaking down the barrier between people and the world.

Bee A COMPANION
You are a friend to the bee collective just by showing up.
We want to create a community you are proud to be a part of. One that is protective and considerate of the little buddies that make up our ecosystem.

Bee A POLLINATOR
Pollinators are the creatures that keep life abundant.
We are looking for human pollinators within the community who are ready to help the bee collective with its mission to support native bees, build local habitats and to enthusiastically educate Columbus, Ohio

Bee AN ADVOCATE
We are looking for like-minded individuals who are ready to help us even if you don’t currently have the resources to be a pollinator.

Bee Heroic

Our mission at Bee Heroic is to provide an information-to-action platform for initiating practices that will save and protect Earth’s bees, and all of it’s extraordinary pollinators, from near-term extinction. Bee Heroic was established from the necessity of saving the bees and other pollinators from projected extinction. The bee is one of the roughly 900,000 documented species of insects, but scientists estimate there are about 20 million yet to be documented. Bees – wild and domesticated – are part of the Hymenoptera order of insects which includes among them wasps, flies, ants and others that make up cornerstone insects; but we need all insects for healthy eco and food systems; upon which, human health, economies, and lives, depend.  Bee Heroic provides information on both the known and unknown factors impacting our pollinator losses and provides resources on how to take meaningful, concise, and immediate action.

Bee aware. Bee proactive. Bee heroic.
