If you or your beekeeping association is asked to write a support letter for a research project, an apiary at the local park, or for a fellow beekeeper applying for a beekeeping related job, you need to remember your reference / support letter represents the person / group which you support, as well as you. Spelling and grammar are important when writing any document. With spell check on computers there is no excuse for spelling errors. If a person offering their support from their bee club or as a reference for another beekeeper displays a lack of attention to details, grammar and spelling, it shows the reader you do not care about the details, then the person or project you support may not care about the details.
